How to set my own cover picture?

Hello , nice to join this forume

I am using version 1.3.1 with Dune prime,
I would like to know please if it is possible to put my own cover picture rather than ask the provides?

Hi Rino21, welcome to tvixie forum!

I presume that by cover picture, you mean you want to customise folder.jpg?

The easiest way to do this in tvixie is to have tvixie open and showing the movie folder contents. Drag and drop (watch the icon change) your new image onto the folder image in tvixie.
The folder image should change and you will also see that the new folder image is integrated automatically into tvix.jpg.

I hope the attached video makes this easy to follow. And apologies for the poor quality

Thanks for your fast response

I already have the file folder.jpg with the pictuture that i want

the thing is that i cant see it on my Dune Prime 3 player,
for my Tvix 6500 its working well , but for the Dune i cant change the cover manually , i need to use the providers,
is there anything i should change in the files created in the movie directory?

I don't have a Dune to test, but will try to replicate your situation on TViXiE

OK, I created a folder and scanned it with TViXiE(1.3.2b1 configured for DUNE). The contents of the folder are:
.folder.aai
.tvix.aai
dune_folder.txt
fanart.tvixie
front_cover.tvixie
MovieInfo.tvixie

there is no folder.jpg but the folder image is actually front_cover.tvixie.

I have successfully managed to change .tvix.aai to incorporate the new folder image using the method I described above.
I also see that when scraping a movie folder with tvixie set for DUNE, no icon appears in folder view. Since I have no Dune, I am unsure if this is normal procedure or not, but at least my method appears to be doing what I expected it to.

The next question is:
Have I understood your question correctly?

I followed the procedure you described above and I saw that the picture on the template has changed, to the JPG file I dragged….
However the front cover become empty from some reasons 

Any idea?

Hello,

I have the same issue. I can't find a way to find fan art and covers for many tv shows. My idea was to put a jpeg I grabbed off the net as a cover but I can't get it to display. On the software it does but on the dune the cover is blank. I appreciate any help you can offer.
