FR-En Template - Custom Background

And congratulation for the amazing work done on your software

Well i am a WD TV user and use this soft to create the sheets for the films.

I prefer having a background which illustrate the movie, rather than a standard wallpaper that i can see everywhere when i browse my films.
So , I decided to share this work to the french community, people said the work is quite good, so i decided to do those 'backgrounds' in english, to share with you if you want to use them too.

I made a little web site to access thoses images if you want to see them, or you can download the whole pack and do whatever you want.

I will try to add more movies in the futur, as well as possibility to request a film.

Here is a few exemple, you will find almost 200 movies sheet ready to play with.

If you want to use this template, you will have to put the wallpaper you want to use with this template in the same folder as the movie
and call it front_cover.tvixiefanart.jpg

- front_cover.tvixiefanart.jpg : The wallpaper
- front_cover.tvixie : The cover

Tvixie has nothin like %movie% or %moviepath%, so i used %COVER% until this can't be done directly

In the template editor ,

%COVER% = <PATH TO THE IMG>\front_cover.tvixie ==> cover
%COVER%fanart.jpg = <PATH TO THE IMG>\front_cover.tvixiefanart.jpg ==> wallpaper

I wish i could have access to the source code to help you to improve it ( no plans on making it open source ?).
( for the WDTV community for exemple, like custom background for each film, downloading them from themoviedatabase , storing them in a cache directory before choosing one like plot or cover etc etc)).

However, if you wouldn't mind, could you also provide the background files you're using?

all the backgounds are from The Movie Database : themoviedb.org

For now i'm using Media info plus to grab them all ( the soft cashes all the posters and wallpapers and let you choose one).
When all my fanart.jpg were ready, i used Ant Renamer to rename all fanart.jpg into front_cover.tvixiefanart.jpg, the i apply my template

I hope tvixie will let me the same thing in a all in one application )

Chgros - Thanks awfully for the template, I've been using tmdb.org and media info plus like you suggested and the sheets coming out are visually far superior to a standard background, in my opinion. Thanks for making this possible, and I'll probably upload the movie sheets I have produced using your technique at some stage to make it easier for others too...
