Oversized templates

Postby henkiespenkie » Wed Jan 20, 2010 2:05 pm

So, after using Mymovies for a week, I finally came across this fine piece of software for my dune, Thank god! Couldn't get my dune updated by Mymovies due to some bug/error..
Now my movies look great on the Dune with Tvixie, however, only one small problem (I hope) is still to be solved. The templates look oversized on my tv, it just does not fit my tv screen even though i believe to be using the 1080p template in Tvixie. Does anyone had the same problem when using Tvixie for the Dune 3.0 series? And more important, does anyone know the answer to this problem? Thanks in advance

So the problem is solved. FYI there was a setting on my tv that made the picture oversized.

Good to know that the problem was not Tvixie...I hope this helps other users with the same issue. :)

Hi henkiespenkie,
May I ask how you managed to get Tvixie to work on your Dune because many Dune owners (like myself) cannot get it to work without manual changes and adding additional files in each directory.
Morover, in my case, Tvixie hangs on the status "generating thumbnail".
So how have you managed to get it working for you?

@maxblast:

Here you can find more info, that's how I got it working: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=864

The only thing I have that tvixie is hanging completely (80/100% cpu) sometimes when searching for a movie eventhough I have only 1 or 2 moviesites checked. Closing tvixie and starting again or changing the moviename over helps then.

The CPU load depends on the numeber of files it fetches. If you have 510 results......be prepared to wait a long time. The should limit the number of found results.
